LLFC were drawn together with Rome Dream Team and Antwerp in the first round of Mundiavocat 2004. A successful opening game saw LLFC defeat Rome 2-1 and they followed this up with an impressive performance to beat Antwerp 5-0 in their second group game.  These results saw London top their group and the boys hoped for a decent pairing in the knock-out stages.

Lady luck was not, however, on London’s side as they were pulled out in the tie of the round for the first of the knock-out stages - against the hosts and finalists at the previous two Mundiavocats, Budapest. A repeat of last year's European lawyers football cup final (which Budapest edged 1-0), the game between two of the early favourites for Mundiavocat 2004 promised to be tight and competitive.  The spectator’s at the Videoton Stadium were not disappointed as London and Budapest played out one of the ties of the tournament.  However, the London team were the unfortunate losers - going down 1-0 in a match they largely dominated.

The London team followed up the disappointment of the loss to Budapest with a 3-0 victory over Santa Maria.  However, the toils of the earlier games began to tell on London as they lost their next game to a skilful Livorno side 1-0.  London recovered to beat Vancouver 1-0 in their next game, but lost by the same margin to Vienna in their final game of the tournament.

London therefore finished Mundiavocat 2004 in 22nd place with four wins and three defeats; the key game being the 1-0 defeat to Budapest.
